Who?

  1. Who are we?

Glee Club Summer Camps was established in 2010, after the hugely successful launch of Glee on Irish Tv networks. Like the TV programme, our Glee Club Summer Camps aim to be inclusive. Providing people of all abilities and talents with the opportunity to sing, dance and act.... and most importantly to have fun.

  2. Who can join?

We accept children of ages 7 - 18 to join our summer camps.

In every summer camp we also divide people into groups of similar ages.

While we know that there may be children of aged 6 and under who may be very keen to take part, we set this age limit as our experience tell us that under 7 can struggle with the amount of energy used in our summer camps, and the experience becomes less enjoyable for them. We are not here to put anybody off taking part!

  3. Who are the teachers?

Our teachers include Thomas Creighton (dance), Keith Willis (Drama), Therese Donohoe (Drama/Singing), Danna Daly (Singing), and Evelyn O'Sullivan (Singing). All have years of experience in teaching their respective fields.

From time to time we bring in other teachers and we ensure that their standards are equally high.

We ensure all of our teaching staff are Garda Vetted and attend Child protection courses and other professional courses.

  4. Can people with disabilities join our Summer Camps?

We have a policy of inclusivity and not exclusivity. We welcome people to talk to us about any concerns they have about disabilities and if they feel this would inhibit their children in taking part.

What?

  1. What should I bring with me to Summer camp?

All participants should dress appropriately for moving around (Tracksuit, teeshirt, loose pants, runners, dance shoes) and should avoid wearing boots, high heels.

A packed lunch should be brought with you as well as plenty to drink. (Water is the best thing you can bring. Fizzy drinks/milk etc affect your voice for singing!)

All of our camps run from 10am - 2pm

Our Display at the end of the week usually starts at 1pm. So family and friends are encouraged to come before that. Please let us know how many people intend coming along so that we can facilitate everybody.
